new orkut (alot like facebook)
today after many days i logged in to my orkut account & found some new link appearing on orkut i.e. TRY THE NEW ORKUT
and i was like so google is still thinking about orkut 
my exp with orkut was really bad during last few months not only it was slove but i was also tired with spams and lots spams on orkut..
now i will not keep digging all that past … bcas now orkut is also moved ahead.
so new orkut UI looks OK, but the best part is its loading speed is improved alot. basically new orkut is based on Google Web Toolkit (GWT).
and another major change which normal user ll identify is its landing page.
its more and more like facebook, i don’t knw why they need to keep few things same as facebook…
- show more updates
- placing comment on your friends posted stuff directly from feeds page
but impressive features are
- watching full photo album with sliding grid in feed page only
- moving from profile to scraps, photos, videos ets is easy in navigation now
all in all new orkut is much more better then older version. but still they need to work alot on GUI bcas it looks nice in basic colors, but with different color schems new orkut losses its charm..
